Gnome

Through exploratory mining a colony of Gnomes found a suitable location on the surface of Norrath where they could build their city of Klick`Anon and go about their experiments in peace. Unfortunately they also found themselves in the middle of a titanic Elven war. Now they must work against, and along side, both of the Elven races in a desperate struggle for survival.Gnomes spend most of their lives in their underground burrows and rarely come to the surface. They resemble dwarves to some extent, but have a ruddy brown skin and are more wiry and gnarled. Yet, their appearance is not what gets them noticed. Gnomes believe that building contraptions ranks right up there with saving the world. Renowned for their tinkering abilities, gnomes delight in the fact that they can build the right machine for any occasion. The many catastrophes, explosions, and traumatic amputations of limbs that have resulted from this pursuit of mechanics are not seen as tragedies, but rather as learning experiences.Gnomes are an easy-going race, and most have a pleasant, carefree attitude. They do not believe in failures, only temporary setbacks. Their fascinations with gadgets, sprockets, springs, doodads, and-frighteningly enough--explosives, provide gnomes with an abundance of healthy respect (at a safe distance) from others. Not ones to waste time on such things as revenge, gnomes prefer to experiment. It cannot be helped if an experiment happens to go bad on someone who just offended them in some way.

Qeynos wizzys are still the best in my book, and if your a gnome don't go sage, well not yet, go Tinker and see if you like it, no point throwing that racial away just yet and using alot of CMS for that tag-Sage-. for Tinker, you need no Stat requirments for racials.

Hey yeah gnomes are the best race, along with Dwarfs. I have two gnomes a 24 Alc and a 25 Enc (the enc was my first charactor and well it sucks it has like 90 str, so im gunna make a new 1). What should i make my new gnome?

At first I was against it, only beacause I could not reap the benefits of doing such actions. But now as I get closer to the opportunity to partake in such devious activities, I look forward to the day I can take advantage of off-peak hours to gain an unfair advantage over my rivals.

Here, is my thought, if you go to a place that is out in the boonies were people hradly ever go, and you only take 1-2 mobs in a camp of 5 or more, I don't see whats wrong with that, but say you were lower level and went to the bandits, and camped like half of the camp at the peak playing time (i think thats like 5PM-12PM central) than I might have a problem with that, but I would never report someone who does/did it, and I wouldn't train them...I may sit around and loot corpses though. lol, it's not like your gonna be looting them. infact, I may be doing a bit of this myself once i can get my Gnome Warrior to lvl 60 tinker w/Pet MC...after all, its gonna taka a long time to get that dude to have all of his CM's...

My opinion over this matter has changed over the past few months, I used to hate it...just because i couldn't do it with my mains...but now I could care less, I have almost considered playing an alt on one TV and getting in a group w/someone who is AFK'ing on the other, the just looting on one screen and xping in a differant place with the other toon...

BTW, I just started my Gnome Warior, does Gnome make a good race for a Warrior? I'm going Tinker and Gatorwere by the way

yea you do have to make sure you are in a camp that no one usaly never goes cuz some people just train you for laughs also i rather have 1 mob if you are a nec afkin cuz your pet dont heal its self like a water mage pet it taps only so much then it has to have time to regenerate

Get your main to at least 55 before you even think about making a tinker... I mean you guys are like... "yeah I deleted my level 16 warrior so I can make a tinker gnome instead" Besides, you don't know what its like being a higher level so you might even change your mind. You talk about it like you can get your mca in one day. I mean come on.. deleting a level 30+ is one thing, but why even annouce deleting a level 12.. pitiful.

o and i really hate to say this but no guilt on my part since im pre fronts but, gnome ench is the worst combo for an enchanter, erudite ench is the best i suppose if youre going animator or spellbinder and never changing its ok but i really wish i was a eridute ench so i could go scholar but o well whats done is done

Question here... How good and what level are the Inventions...?

I had an idea... make a Gnome Cleric and get invention... I could heal it and it could tank, but it won't work unless it's around my level. Would it work either way?

the tinkers are level 50, to get it you must go tinker path (MC) and with that you can then spend 75 cms to get a heal for it and a buff.

So who here thinks gnome rule!??!?!?!? I sure as hell do, they are always funny, cuz even if they dont say anything they look funny. Waddle around and sooo short with there huge noses. Gnomes Kickass! And they are cute as hell too when they wanto be lol. And in robes look like they have tails heh. Gnomes should be able to be every class, i mean first of all a gnome sk would be the best in the game cuz of all their int. And gnome Monk...how sick would that be!??! With their TINY hands. Anyways just wanted to make sure u all know that, and now that ive said that. I made a Gnome only guild with my GF on FH server so if ur a gnome send MAIL to Heernoevil if u are interested!

ok tinker path...really not good for mage, take sage instead of tinker becasue tinker you get a lvl 50 melee pet, and some int buffs. with sage you get 20 PoT and int buffs..

Pyro= 150 base dex 200 base Int...you get a level 54 efreeti lord. also you get efreeti fire or something best dmg spell mage cxan get.also -25 cr + 50 fr +10 move speed int,dex buffs

Hydro= 150 base Wis 200 base Int....you get lvl 54 Gahiel Noble...a spell idk stats idk stats

Geo= 150 base sta 200 base int...you get lvl 54 badi elder....also new spell idk stats

Aero= 150 base Agi 200 base int...you get lvl 54 djinn viezer...dd spell close in dmg to fire one but not as good. idk stats

sage is a bad idea for a mage, youre aero/geo/hydro/pyro mca's all have somthing along th elines of a new nuke and all have bad ass pets, the tinker pet is bad ass but mainly because of its resists, aka completely immune to pr/dr/ar. niether of witch are ment for a mage. stick with youre mage only mca's there the best you have.

Okay, i have heard that if you make a gnome and you get him to lvl 55 and go tinker with him you get some lvl 50 pet. What does this pet look like and what does it do? Is it really worth going tinker just for the pet.

I would like to know the same thing for my wizzy... Is the pet actually worth losing some of the PoT and other mana spells that you can get from other MC's? Such as channerler, u get this great mana spell, but not with tinker, i wish to know the ups and downs of being a tinker wizzy... And if it is really worth it.

hey, i saw a tinker.... yea the 50 pet is a CLockwork thingy... has complicated name like in klickanon. gets quad. and attacks! i told em to let it punch me.. i didnt kno it had quad, but on a 28mage, he did 500 a swing. i was out in a few. But the tinker i saw was a Cl, i also saw a Wiz one, but i think tinker.. is kind of a gnome thing. But defienetly, im not going for it on my mage. id rather had Lord Ghilian. Thats just me. u might want a tinker quad! i duno! hope that helped u

make a gnome wizzy or mage.. ne caster because they have high int. their Class masters are,
Invention=summons pet that gives 5 PoT
Curisouty=+10 int +50 Pow Max

My bad, lol. Pressed Enter. ;) I think Gnomes kick! Elves are getting so boring... I am about to delete a 17 Elf, Wizard and I already deleted a 14 Elf, Alchemist. Why? Because Gnomes are cool and so are Tinkers! Wizards and Alcs are already the best dds in the game... with a Level 50 Aggresive pet... it's like wow... Alcs and Wizards would be even better dds, way better. So If you are a Gnome Alc or Wizard, I recommend Tinker by far. ;) That is my opinion. ;) G'day and Goodluck to you all. ;)

I agree. Alcs and wizzys are great DDs and with the help of a 50 pet they would be unstopable. And they wouldnt be such hoorible soloers cause they get a pet heal with that pet. Plus the pet could come in handy if your farming, even though they can kill everyhting in like two nukes/potions, lol.

In the early stages put your TP�s on Dex and Int. (ONLY). Unless you are going to try to solo grind?:-( Were to put your TP is a huge debate, and always will be. I personally put more on Dex, when I started. It worked well because, I seemed to do a lot more damage than other Wizzy's my level. And it is a lot easer to find good items/armor with Int. witch helps to level it out. Now my Dex is only about 80 points higher. The goal is to max out both of them. Dex. Increases the amount of damage you do per cast, and adds to your power pool. Int. adds twice as much to your power pool, and increases the accuracy of your spells. Buy every CM point, and items that boost PoT, Dex and Int. keep Root and your most recent pet on your ability�s at all times. Your pet heals you, but only right when he is casted so don�t keep him out all the time, cast him let him buff you and then dismiss him, cast it when you need healing, and it will probably draw agro and take a few hits tooJ�.. I could go on forever.

yes, we get a familiar pet at level 6 (earliest), but if u go with racial mastery, u can have a damage pet at 60. The pet will be a lvl 50, with dual wield and kicks. Not much use for those gnome casters, but for a warrior its just bad ass!

yo if u go out the south gate of klick then over that big mountain u get to the rougle clock work village and they is right in the center of the village walkin round u should find them there

Merchant Felsop Has the Ink (near the Model iii east of Market underground) And the Mind whippers are outside the city walls between the south and west gates. They are level 9-10 so bring someone with you. Hint: Group so they can have the exp.too and you can loot. Skeezer
