This quest is started by talking to Keeper Draid. He tells you he is studying Necromancy and wants you to get some Greyweed from Melton's Graveyard. Melton's Graveyard is located in Druids watch. From Highbourne go North until you reach the River and take a right. Keep going that way until you see a graveyard. You can only get this item when the skeletons spawn at Night. Once it becomes nightfall put on invis and start running around until you get a message box. Say pick the weed. Return home and talk to Draid.

He now tells you to talk to Mayana (i think thats how its spelled) in the Stone claw ravines. Go throught either the first or second gap (they both lead to the same place) until you reach a fortress. The person you need to talk to is in the center of the building. Talk to him he will ask for to kill a spotted lion. They are outside of the walled town toward the west mostly. Make sure it drops its fang. I had it drop 4 other items before the fang was dropped. Go back and he will give you Book of Necromancy I. Talk to Draid again.

He now wants you to goto Qeynos Prison and talk to Guard Smeji. He is in the tower right next to the prison on the West side. He will tell you kill the necromancer Hagan. He is North West on the little bumps/hills. Return home and talk to Keeper Draid. He awards you experence...for all that time just experence.

ok for the last part...go out the entrance by the coach and run north to the river. invis if u have to. cross the river and over the hill/mountain on the other side ull find a road by a lil town.. follow that road eastish all the way to the prison...do not enter cuz they r aos to u...u must look to the west on the hill for the tower thats whr ull find smirg. ok from the tower run north west but not very far keep the tower behind u in sight...look around the area for him...by where the gnolls r patrolling the hill side..now i didnt see him on my way there i see him on the return to the tower to start over but i found Hagar Loftlin at the bottom of a hill walking to the south west, kill him and collect the marker that he has...now remember all my info is from the moment i was doin the quest i typed all this up while doin them..so that all the names r correct and places r described to the best of my abilities... ok now rh and turn in..idk how much normal xp u get but with boon of hagley u get 2202792xp at lvl 14 and a scroll called element gaurd. now i hope all this gets u ur desired needs done quickly as possible although this was a long quest for a lvl 13.

ok for finding maryan..its a he btw..u could run out the entrance from highborne by the coach...and instead of goin into the ravine just go east north east and follow the mountain around to the east into stoneclaw east zone..there u will see some male and female giggen aviaks...just keep goin a bit to the south south east and ull see a complex with gaurd Isham and gaurd Talosh enter there and con around ull see him..ok once u found maryan and got the quest..ull run straight goin north back the way u came in from. first hill u get too go up to the top there r 4 rock on it with a tree to the east right beside the hill..now from the top of the hill go north east. down and cross the road up the next hill.now down that hill and hug the mountain to the east and follow it to a hill scan around that hill and east from there up against the mountain as well i have found 5 within this area..kill and return to get the book but make sure u get the fang and not the claw. rh and get next part.

The updated part for 2009. Ok i have searched all over and finaly found the grave yard...run north from HB and cross the river..then go east you will run into the graveyard its rite by the bank of the river.. its in druids watch sw and s the graveyard is sitting southwest and south zone although most of it is on the southwest side. Its rite beside the town melton on the west side if that helps any better.(i am writing this as im doin the quest)so leave the graveyard and return home..turn into Keeper Draid and get the next step in finding Maryan.

location of the grave yard is Druid's Watch S... there should be fog all round it. I got the pop-up there.

I went North, n stayed on the coast of the river n didn't see nothing like a grave yard, n went all the way to Spider cave or whateva it was, so WHat, Quadrant of druids watch, is the graveyard located in? S, SE, SW??? Lemme know please,

Ummm some one said that the spotted lion was west mostly or what ever was said just to let peeps kno i looked all over west never saw anything but big fat mountain...we killed 5, however NE of maryan!

good Directions! Grave yard is on the north bank of river In Druids Watch. The Person your looking for in Stone Claw is Maryan. Spotted lion is actually North east of gate, not west...

Maynard is in stone claw East zone. If you have the time, you can just follow that guard right to the compound.

hey sry i posted this and i kinda F*cked up with the names. I did this on a weekday and couldnt log to check the names. Just didnt want anyone to go through the pain i went through trying to find all these people/monsters. GL all wizzys.
