stats - start with sta and get that high...then go to int
just get sta to whatever u want...basically so u have enough hp to take a few hits from whatever u lvl on...then put some into int

Ok, I have a 20 Necro and I want to make him my main - but I have a few questions on how to build him. First off, I was already informed that power path was best, so i chose power path. Umm.. but i was wondering if Necros make good soloers/farmers at higher levels. - I was also wondering what stats to build - i already have 107sta 101int and 100dex (or something like that) I'm done with dex. Also, what Mc is best for soloing?! and what Mc is best for groups ?! and why?
Basically - any imput would help! Thank you!

Main things I posted were:
P.S. My 60 necromancer I deeply regret going blood. It never helped me, if the tank is good than the AoE crit won't hit the group. Power has a short recast (1 minute). I have never seen blood save anybodys life. Power gives your group power, so the other DD can use their abilities a lot more often, or a wizzy can cast like crazy and not go oom, healers shouldn't get low on power unless they have 2 like heal whole group from an AoE so then your power path would quickly regenerate their power to full, power will allow the tank to taunt more keeping it off the other DD whome is also doing more damage then they would if you was blood, and the healer would be able to drop a few nukes if your power path because you'll fill it back up, and by 60 chaining you 20, 30, 40 specialized 49, and 60 power spells every 60 seconds, your group should be pretty good power wise, not to mention power usually has a net loss of power (to you) at either 0, or in the negatives depending on the mob you use it on (as in you may also gain power). (assumeing they give you back exactly as much power as you used, which they usually give atleast that much) That's 1650 power to your group every minute, not counting the 60 spell, plus your Lich power pact every 12 seconds. That will definately speed the hell outta your groups up. You will get 50-60 faster, not to mention once you have your MCA and 60 path spell you'll probably be one of the more likely people to ever get 1500 CM's, being a petter you own EG, and power path you own normal groups.
And:
If you use your paths 20-49 every minute for an hour, that's 99,000 power you gave to each one of your groupies.
Blood, 20-49 specialized gives 1375 HP and takes 2225 power from you, that's 82,500 HP if you cast it every minute for an hour, and minus 133,440 power from you. Blood also has a 1 minute recast. They both have a 4 second cast time, which if your trying to save somebodys life is kinda slow.
FYI: On the parts where I said if you cast it once a minute every minute in one hour, I left out the time taken from the 4 second cast, on both posts.

I made an ogre necro and im building him up for raids and farming, etc. He's only 25atm and blood path, but I was thinking of taking my nec Juggernaught.
i read what defiler gives and that looks good
too. Any suggestions? Anyone hear of a successful
nec juggernaught? any other suggestions on how to
build a tough necromancer would be awesome too.

The added HP that Juggernaut has to offer isn’t essential when you negate most of the pact damage with AR.
If you do not like being confined by Erudite only, Lich is a great alternative, although their Subversion damage is non-resistable.

I think the only thing I didn't really care for from this mc is the Strength. I mean yeah sure it doesn't hurt to have more strength I guess, but it's not necessary. The nuke MCA you get is probably the best I've seen especially for a necromancer since we don't have much for attacks in the first place.
All in all, the important factors from this mc are the +25 PoT, +10 HoT, +35 Dex / Sta, and the +50 Int Max.
I would also like to point you towards some other mc's as well.
As a Defiler, you get +50 Sta Max, 200 HP and 2 Def Mods. As well you get the ability Corrupt, which when cast on yourself gives you a 200 damage blood tap proc buff much like a shadowknights. Everytime you proc you get healed for half the proc damage. Also you get an ability called Defile, which is a roughly 1600 damage nuke that hits you for the same amount, however is resistable.
Personally I think either of the two mc's are very good choices. I guess really it all depends on how you built your toon.

Growing Ego: PWR Max +150
Undestanding: PoT +5
Growing Ego is ideal for necros and understanding is good at lower levels, but the 5 PoT is pretty futile at higher lvls.
Dark Elves: My personal favorite. STA-INT pretty much evened out.
CMS:
Flash Of Daggers: 1HP attack buff
Blood of Innoruuk: +25 AR
Shroud of Hate: Self- DS
Elven Reflexes: AGI MAX +10 AGi +5 DEX MAX: +10 DEX: +5
The only CM i would recommened for necs is Blood of Inorruuk. The other 3 are ideal for rogues.
Humans: Make worst necs, but best starting position. CMS:
Retreat: Group SoW
Military Training: OFF mod
Leadership: Group WIZ/STA buff
Martial Training: DEF mod
Leadership is key for necs. All the rest are pretty useless for necs.
Gnomes: High int. CMS:
Invention: Pet (takes crits) and +5 PoT
Cantrip: Nuke and + 5 PoT
Oil Slick: Snare
Curiousity: +10 INT PWR MAX +50
The extra PoT is ok at lower levels, but again, it isn't really helpful at higher lvls. Curiosity is decent and oil slick is good. But these depend on what you would like to do.

Actuly Humans make good necros, Grp Sprint is great for runing to places or w/e. Every class can use all the mods they can get, and as you said leadership is great foe necros. Only thing worse about Humans are that they can't become Scholors or Chosens, but a Human Lich or Defiler are still great.
It's true that Wiz does help but it is specificly the AR that lessens the drained hp.

just fyi... i think goin blood is a bad idea... i have a 50 nec blood path and i am very disappointed... i wish i could change it
put all training points into STA & INT (a few into WIS but not many) by gear with STA, INT, POW, AR. I have max AR and I pact for 270 & get damage as low as 8 taken from my health.
Oh and I think Defiler is best for Blood path to.
However, I've only ever had a Eurodite Nec, I'm very pleased with her, but if a different race might be better, I don't really know.
Just compare starting stats of all races, and also check out the racial cm's on Hodstock.com
Eurodites have great power, but so do gnomes, and other races get more stamina bonuses.
Also:
DEX helps your nukes(some argue dont waist your time with it, it never hurts though)
WIS your undead nukes
AR lessens your self damage when healing others

Blood first gives about 160 to all members in group, idk about power...Pacts take away your life, and we dont want that happening and you pulling aggro, though blood does take a long time to cast it does help dramatically sometimes, But I would say go blood, leave the batteries for power, they do need to do something and clerics are hard to come by
