why do you all say that you have more than 15 people in a grp when you can only have 4! never heard of such thing on grouping past it. Post on how you do that.

listen, you have never heard of such a thing cause you are blind to the ways of combat and never hunted a dread before. its usally a guild event to help with getting the item required for epics for thos doing it or close to.
you need one guy to taunt for all the aggro till he is out of manna then one to sow him, and a few to root while he is pullin aggro. when he is ready he yells attack and the 15-20 friends or guildies hammer the dread while the tank runs in circles around a big fallen tree. when you knock off about .75 to 1.0 of the health bar you start over again. other wise agrro can go to the grp in which case can be very bad for his area nuke is deadly.
if your guild does not do such things when your 40+ ask members of FURY or DREAM on Ferran's Hope (high end guilds) when the next dread night is and ask if you can join in on the hunting. they usally hunt them once a week or so.

Dread does take some time to kill. Average is around 6 min with a pretty big group 15 to 20 ppl. The night I got my key we killed about 15 dreads and like I stated took about 6 mins per, xcept 1 that came we were able to kill in about 30 sec.....To me its a fluke, and onl;y happened that once, but it is possible to kill dread really fast if you happen to draw a low lvl 1.

All of them are lvl 55 and I've clocked the kill at 3 min 30 seconds. Only had 4 DD, 53 Wiz, 49 Necro, 49 Brd, and 50 SK, we had a 58 DeathKnight tanking it, that helped a wee bit ;)

i was in a grp of 4 that killed a dreadnaught but it took like 10 mins to take it down.

We had a 60 mage, 60 nec(def), 36 sha, and me(I was 45 at the time)(the 36 sha was only one from my old guild who stayed with us after many failed attemps)

    1. clear all wild life from area(where dreadnaught is)

    2. have the sha sow the 60 mage

    3. have the mage use ghilan(water pet) to pull the dreadnaught. let the water pet get hit acouple times so it heals and draws agro while every1 hides behind trees so not to get hit by aoe

    4. have the 60 mage run around in big circles so the dreadnaught cant hit him or his pet or use its aoe(dont get too far from it or it'll go back to full health but dont get too close or it will attack, use its aoe, and u'll all b screwed)

    5. when it safe(when the mage does one lap and the dreadnaught dosent hit him), run along side the dreadnaught casting and having ur pet attack

    6. after about 10 min the dreadnaught should go down (get a higher lvl sha and mage and it might b sooner)

    7. (make sure the sha sows the 60 mage everytime he needs it so hes not hit)

    8. repeat 3 more times for other grp members

CG, u killed a dreadnaught with 4 ppl!

That's true...with a group of 3 casters 2 rangers 2 healers and a runner we had the other ranger mess up and break the root but in that 5 minutes we were already fighting it we only had it 1/2 way down. Ive been xping in ct for some time now. When I first started we would just go around the temples killing the lizardmen outside. Last night however we went into one of the temples where there is the iron guardian and clay guardian that ports you somewhere. There were champions, tawean(spelling), and some others. I guess my question is what drops rubicite? I was told they drop from any lizardmen but Im not sure. First time there a Cazinite breastplate dropped that had AWESOME stats for tanks. Unfortunately I lost the roll to the other tank, which hurts so bad. Anyt info on good armor drops in ct would be appreciated.

WOW GUYS I just got back from IoD and OMG that's the scariest place I've ever been. We killed Impale with 18 people, and he gives 11 faction with the citizens. My group got the kill, he only gave 200k xp but he dropped some kick ass bard helm and some really bad ring with only 5 to every resistance. The bad helm had like 5 stamina and 20 agi, with 112 AC. It was nice, I'm 41 so I died 4 times, and we were only able to kill 1 thing, with 18 people not being enough. I'd like to go back there sometime soon and get some uber rare cleric gear. Some nice level 50 leggings or something :)

Alright folks, heres the info youve all been waiting for. In Chaciz Thule (C) next to one of the main Temples of the Tae Ew Lizardmen, there is a very small isle with a ghoul looking like person called Norach. Norach tells you a stopry blah blah blah find a dreadnaught and slay him, bring back proof. So, From ZK, Go NE through 2 zones, 3rd zxone youll find is Anu Village, head the (S) part of it, with 15 people, These are needed, CASTERS UNDER LEVEL 45 WILL NOT DO DAMAGE, CLERICS/ROOTERS UNDER 45 WILL NOT HOLD WITH ROOT. Bring a 50 tank with the highest ac and HP, a sheild ( no matter what class) a bard, A cleric/shaman/druid for rooting, A Shadowknight. DEFUFFS WILL NOT UNROOT THE DREADNAUGHT. The SKs uses all debuffs many times of final form (exmple:dont use siphon stregth after drain strength, only drain strength) and The tank uses incite about 20 tiems, bard keeps mana high(the Tank would preferably be an SK) Bard keeps the tank sowed, and the Rooter CONSTANTLy roots, more rooters the better, the slower dreadnaught will run. after the tank has agro, he gives some space and everyone attacks who is supposed to (non tank non rooters) tasnks runs in rather large circles around the rooters, and everyone either follows or cuts acroos the middle to attack it (if there are 5 rooters it will be able to be followed casue itll stop, start, stop start ect ect) and the bard keeps SOw up, 15 mins you have 5 Medallions of the Faceless to loot. Back to Norach and 10k will get you a trip to Isle of dread, the fish see invis and have sow, everything sees invis, is red to a 50, takes at leats 4 majorly well equiped people, and has sow. Good luck.
